Michaela is a New York based food stylist. She has skills and experience as a professional chef, with a background in fine dining at restaurants including Gramercy Tavern. Before she started cooking, she worked in photography, photo assisting and producing shoots. Food styling is the happy Venn diagram of her two careers. She loves problem solving, whether it's how to make a recipe pop or a shoot flow.

Additionally, Michaela is co-owner of Rise & Root Farm in Chester, NY where she works to create a more just food system and enjoys building high tunnels and getting her hand in the soil.

Michaela's styling clients include The New York Times, Hungryroot, Bigelow Tea, Sweet Paul Magazine, Subzero Wolf, Woodbridge Winery, Penguin Random House, Kraft, Bumblebee Tuna and Corona.
