Michaela is a New York based food stylist. She has skills and experience as a professional chef, with a background in fine dining at restaurants including Gramercy Tavern. Michaela writes, develops recipes for, and styles the "Put A Lid On It" column in Sweet Paul magazine. Additionally, she is co-owner of Rise & Root Farm in Chester, NY where she enjoys building high tunnels and getting her hand in the soil.

Michaela's styling clients include The New York Times, Bigelow Tea, Sweet Paul Magazine, Subzero Wolf, Woodbridge Winery, Penguin Random House, Kraft, Bumblebee Tuna, Quarto Publishing, Totto Ramen, Hamptons Magazine, Hers Muscle & Fitness Magazine, Whataburger, Fairway Markets, and Texas Monthly.

Before she worked in food, Michaela was a photo assistant and studio manager for photographers in Kansas City and New York City.
